The DS3 issues ID cards at superior print speeds packed with high security features such as tactile impression, custom hologram and data encryption meaning sensitive employee or visitor data are not stored in the printer after printing is complete. All of this can be managed from the palm of your hand with the new dashboard feature accessible via a mobile phone or tablet device.

Offering full colour print speeds of up to 250 single-sided or 180 dual-sided cards per hour, this printer is designed for use in businesses with larger production requirements.

Card Types

The Sigma DS3 issues physical ID (card) and a digital ID (mobile flashpass) at the same time. The input hopper has a capacity up to 125 cards, output hopper up to 25 cards and reject hopper up to 10 cards, ideal for medium to large sized print batches.

Security

Data Encryption - Ensure your data is safe from intruders with encryption technology, TPM Module, and Secure Boot all available with this high-end security ID card printer. Customer data sent between software and printer is encrypted and not stored in the printer after printing is completed.

Tactile Impression - The tactile impression feature is a unique, high-level security feature used to increase the tamper resistance of a card as well as highlight and promote the customer brand. The impression is visible on the surface of the card making cloned card attempts much easier to spot.

Luster Panel Ribbon - The luster speciality print ribbon allows you to include additional card security that can easily be applied. Adding text and images with the luster panel creates a colour-shifting translucent effect that is only viewable under a UV light. Cloned card attempts can be easily identified.
