How many databases can I create?

EasyBadge Smart is designed to meet the demands of those printing thousands of cards. With this in mind, an unlimited number of databases can be created. This makes it the ideal choice for organisations wishing to segment records between departments or those requiring more than one form of photographic ID. 

Which access control cards can I encode with EasyBadge Smart?

EasyBadge Smart is designed for contactless encoding including MIFARE and DESFire products. Magstripe encoding is also standard with EasyBadge Smart software. 

How does the EasyBadge App work?

The EasyBadge App is free and can be downloaded to any smartphone or tablet. It has been created to eliminate some of the biggest difficulties associated with image capture for ID cards. Best of all, it removes stress during enrolment and onboarding along with the financial burden of expensive camera and lighting equipment. 

Here is how it works: 

1. The user takes a photo on their smartphone or tablet via the App
2. The image is saved onto the App
3. The user can then send the picture, along with any other information to be included on the printed card via the EasyBadge Cloud. 
4. The photo and data is securely sent straight to a pair ID card printer. 
5. The card is printed. 

For workplaces looking to issue ID in 2020, there is another fantastic benefit: It eliminates long queues during onboarding and enrolment processes. This eliminates health risks in 2020 – all without the need for social distancing.  

Will EasyBadge Smart work with my ID card printer? 

Yes, like all EasyBadge ID card software, EasyBadge Smart has been specifically developed to work with all ID card printers. 

If you are planning to print onto access control cards such as MIFARE and DESFire products, you will need a retransfer ID card printer. You can read more about why this is necessary in our full retransfer printer guide. 

Will EasyBadge Smart work with my computer? 

EasyBadge Smart is compatible with Windows operating systems including:

Please note, EasyBadge Smart is not compatible with MAC OSX, and once the licence code has been issued the software will be non-refundable.
