To ensure you get the best print possible, the DNA Pro tailors its print type by using thermal transfer for vivid monochrome printing and dye-sublimation technique for stunning colour, offering an all-in-one solution.

The Javelin DNA Pro has an outstanding 300dpi print resolution and tailors its printing style to yield the highest quality results possible. It uses thermal transfer to produce sharp, clear monochrome prints and dye-sublimation technique for vivid and vibrant full-colour images.

Upgrade options for the DNA Pro include dual-sided printing, contact & contactless smart card encoding, 3-track magnetic stripe encoding including both Hi-Co and Lo-Co, and internal USB hub.

The Javelin DNA Pro prints to standard CR80 credit card sized cards from a range of materials including PVC and composite PVC.

The DNA Pro is designed to conveniently fit on a desk with its exact dimensions being 36.6cm (L) x 18.4cm (W) x 22.8cm (H) and weighs 4.5kgs.

Printer Type
The Javelin DNA Pro printer is a direct-to-card (DTC) model. DTC printing means the card design is taken from the ribbon and then printed directly onto the surface of the card to give it a glossy, professional finish.
Print Speed
In just one hour, the DNA Pro can produce up to 200 full-colour, single-sided cards, and a massive 800 single-sided, monochrome cards.
Connectivity
The Javelin DNA Pro comes with an interface for high-speed USB and is built with 10/100 ethernet as standard. As well as this, unlike most printers, this DTC printer also has the option to add Wi-Fi connectivity.

The only downside to the Javelin DNA Pro is the lack of printing security features such as UV laminates or hologram film. But the plus points include the ability to print large volumes of high-quality cards. It is the perfect, compact printing package with many encoding options, allowing you to personalise the printer to your needs.
