Zebra ZXP Series 7 Product Review
With the ability to produce a high-volume of cards whilst still maintaining high-quality, photo-like results gives the ZXP Series 7 ID card maker machine the upper-hand against other printers. Fast, stunning results every time and cards that are resistant to scratching, cracking and bending offers reliability and reassurance.
The ZXP Series 7’s colour dye sublimation/monochrome thermal-transfer printing combined with a resolution of 300 dpi allows the Series 7 to produce near-photographic quality images that are sharp, vibrant and of the highest quality. It is useful to note the edge-to-edge printing leaves a thin white border around the edge of the card.
The Zebra ZXP Series 7 comes complete with a two-year unlimited warranty on printer and printhead as standard.
The easy-to-follow 6-line LCD operator display with configurable soft keys makes operation simple. It will alert you when the ribbon needs replacing or if a clean of the printer is required. It can also be easily upgraded from single-sided to dual-sided in minutes.

In addition to this, the Series 7 prints in such high-resolution, the images are almost photo-like, meaning businesses where identification is essential, can rely on their ID cards to help their security measures.
The Zebra ZXP Series 3 has the option of adding additional encoding features including Magnetic Stripe encoding, Smart card contact station for third-party external contact encoders and combined MIFARE contactless and Contact Encoder.
The ZXP Series 7 printer is a direct-to-card (DTC) model. DTC printing means the card design is taken from the ribbon and then printed directly onto the surface of the card which gives it a glossy professional finish.
The ZXP Series 7 works only with CR80 credit-card sized cards.
The Series 7 can produce medium to large batches of cards. In a typical 35 hour working week, it has the ability to print 7,875 full-colour (YMCKOK) dual-sided cards, 10,500 full colour (YMCKO) single-sided cards and a massive 48,125 monochrome single-sided cards.

Standard USB/Ethernet ports and the browser-based Printer Manager helps you integrate printers into third-party applications as well as existing systems.
Bigger than the average printer, its exact dimensions are; 306mm (H) x 699mm (W) x 277mm (D), and it weighs 17.9kgs.
