Security

The ZXP Series 9 comes complete with a Kensington physical lock slot so you can attach it to your desk to reduce printer theft and for additional security, it has the option to add a lockable enclosure/card feeder.
As well as this, the Series 9 Retransfer produces incredibly high-quality cards with photo-like imagery, meaning identification is much clearer, making it ideal for businesses where security is high, and they need to identify people by their ID cards.

Encoding

The Zebra ZXP Series 9 Retransfer has the option of adding additional encoding features including Magnetic Stripe encoding, Smart card contact station and combined MIFARE contact and contactless encoder. It can also be upgraded to encoding over Ethernet.

Printer Type

The ZXP Series 9 Retransfer prints onto a laminate film that is then thermally bonded to the card. This is instead of printing the image through the ribbon so therefore saves time. It also has over-the-edge printing, so there is no white border around the outside of the card.

Card Types

The ZXP Series 9 Retransfer is compatible with CR80 credit-card sized cards.

Print Volume

The Series 9 Retransfer can print outstandingly high-quality cards at fast speeds. In a 35-hour working week can print 6,650 full-colour single-sided cards and 6,300 full-colour dual-sided cards. 

Print Speed

The ZXP Series 9 Retransfer can print 190 full-colour single-sided cards per hour and 180 full-colour dual-sided cards per hour.

Connectivity

Ethernet and USB connection are standard features with the ZXP Series 9 Retransfer, offering connections to both a network and a desktop to increase the flexibility of printing. 

Operating Systems

Standard USB/Ethernet ports and the browser-based Printer Manager helps you integrate printers into third-party applications as well as existing systems.

Size

As the ZXP Series 9 is a retransfer printer, it is bigger than other printers in the Zebra range. Its exact dimensions are; 334mm (H) x 476mm (W) x 519mm (D) and it weighs 12.5kgs.

Appearance

In the classic Zebra colours of grey and black with the signature orange button, the ZXP Series 9 Retransfer printer is larger than other Zebra printers but it will still comfortably fit on an office desk. If you add on the laminator or decide to expand your range, however, we recommend creating a dedicated area for printing.
